Continuing Nursing Education Credit

UTMB Continuing Nursing Education is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

The courses offered on this site meets criteria for mandatory continuing education requirements toward re-licensure as established by the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas.

To obtain CNE credit for any of the courses we offer, please follow the guidelines below:

1. Register and provide the demographic information required on the registration page.
2. Login to your personalized home page.
3. Select a course to enroll and make payment online.
4. Work through all of the on-line learning activities incorporated into the course.
5. Respond to all program evaluation questions and submit the on-line program evaluation form.
6. Click on the Print Certificate screen, then select CNE.
7. Make sure that the Page Setup command is switched to Landscape mode.
8. Print your CNE certificate.

Please note: If your certificate is lost and you need a duplicate for your records, you can enter the system using your assigned access code and print another certificate. For assistance with this process, please contact us.
