The President's Alumnus Award

The President's Alumnus Award is presented to one alumnus of the UTMB School of Nursing who has made outstanding and widely recognized contributions to nursing in a leadership role. The recipient has made a significant impact on health care in addition to making significant contributions to the nursing profession in clinical practice, education, administration, or organizational work involving health care or innovation in health care delivery systems.

Nominees must be graduates of the UTMB School of Nursing. Nominations may be submitted by any interested individual, relative, friend, patient, colleague or fellow alumnus. The Alumni Association Board of Directors is responsible for selecting The President's Award Alumnus.
