PDA Specifications for UTMB School of Nursing Students
UTMB School of Nursing requires that BSN, BACC2 and Masters students use a PDA to replace a number of previously required textbook references and provide information retreival skills for students. Here are the minimum hardware requirements:
  • Palm OS, Windows Operating System or iPhone/iPod touch
  • Processor - 200MHz or more
  • 32MB RAM (minimum)
  • Memory expansion cards (1GB or larger)*

Students
Please bring your own PDA (fully charged and loaded with the correct software) to eCamp in order to fine-tune your skills. We will be discussing PDAs in length and there will be people available to help you troubleshoot if you're having any problems.

The required PDA software is listed at www.skyscape.com/utmbson. PDAs are also available for purchase from Skyscape in a bundle package featuring all of the necessary PDA software for your convenience. Other PDA devices may be used if compatible with the software.
