The University of Texas Medical Branch School of Nursing invites applications for full-time Master’s Program Director. The Academic Program Director provides leadership and vision for master’s programs including strategic planning, program innovation, program outcome evaluation and operational management. Qualified candidates will have significant experience teaching at the university level, a strong curriculum background, demonstrated leadership and management skills. A baccalaureate and a Master's degree in nursing, an earned doctorate and eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in Texas are required. Comprising the master’s program are the RN-MSN program, five nurse practitioner specialties, Nursing Leadership in Complex Health Care Organizations, and the Nurse Educator with Clinical Concentration.
As a component of the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), the school of nursing offers academic programs at the baccalaureate (generic and RN-BSN), master’s (Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Leadership, and Nurse Educator), and doctoral levels (PhD in Nursing). The University of Texas Medical Branch School of Nursing invites applications for full-time and part-time faculty positions in the specialty area of Adult Health, Community Health, Maternal-Child Health, Informatics Nursing, and Simulation Lab. Qualified candidates will have significant experience teaching at the university level, clinical experience in acute care practice and demonstrated leadership skills. A baccalaureate and a master's degree in nursing and eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in Texas are required. An earned doctoral degree is desired. Primary teaching responsibility will be in the undergraduate program. The UTMB School of Nursing undergraduate program consists of an accelerated one year online; two year; and three year progressions and an RN-BSN online track.
