Q: I have completed some of the compliance training courses where I currently work. If I show proof of completion do I have to take the courses again through UTMB compliance?

A: Yes, UTMB requires that you completed their courses.

Q: What kind of CPR certification does UTMB require?

A: A person in a clinical setting must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR) for Adults and Children.

Q: What are UTMB’s policy and procedures related to needle sticks?

A: You may access information on UTMB's needle stick policy and procedures along with many other important employee health issues within the Infectious Control Policy Manual.

Q: What do I do about parking for classes or meetings?

A: You will be given a code to the parking garage at 11th and Mechanic. You will then obtain tokens from Tiffany Swain in 3.402.
