The Physical Assessment Disc

This interactive CD-ROM has been a valuable resource for nurses to use in learning how to perform a physical assessment. It has been used to teach basic skills to nursing students in baccalaureate, associate degree, and R.N. completion programs, and has served as a quick review for

students entering graduate level practitioner programs. It has also been used to enhance the assessment skills of nurses in many types of settings such as: medical centers, staff development and continuing education programs, long-term care facilities, community health settings, and industrial work sites. Performing a physical assessment has becomea routine activity for the registered nurse, and The Physical Assessment Disc is a great place to start.
