Our Mission

The mission of the SON Multi-Media Lab is to facilitate the integration and use of technology into nursing education. We are a resource for faculty, staff and students developing or using on-line instruction. We also serve as a testing ground for exploring new technologies that can enhance our current efforts. Our goal is to be a centralized resource for the school for all activities related to instructional technology.

In addition to our on-line course activities the Multi-Media Lab has a 13 year history of developing interactive multi-media programs. We currently distribute 2 CD-ROM based programs, “The Physical Assessment Disc” and “Ethics and End-of-Life Care”. We have extensive experience in the planning and production of patient and professional health related education.
