The Center for Nursing Research and Evaluation offers a number of resources for those conducting scholarly activities in nursing. These resources are available to School of Nursing faculty, staff, students and all practicing nurses at UTMB.

	Academic Journal Directory As a service to the School of Nursing and to the nursing community generally, CNRE has created and maintains the Academic Journal Directory, a listing of over 400 nursing and health-realted journals. Information of interest to prospective authors is provided, including each journal's focus, manuscript policies, and contact addresses.
	APA Style Guide As a service to the UTMB School of Nursing and UTMB communities, we offer answers to the most-frequently-asked APA Style questions, based on the fifth edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association . This option is only available to students, faculty and staff.
	Instrument Bank The Center for Nursing Research and Evaluation maintains a large instrument bank of questionnaires, surveys and other tools in nursing and related disciplines. CNRE also maintains documentation on validity and reliability of these instruments. Researchers are encouraged to use these examples to evaluate the instruments' appropriateness to their own work, and to contact the author or copyright holder(s) for permission to use the instrument.
