Recruitment

Recruitment for the Undergraduate and Master’s programs is coordinated by the Office of Student Affairs/Admissions. Students interested in assisting with recruiting should contact the Office of Student Affairs at (409) 747-1520.

The University of Texas Medical Branch School of Nursing has an Open House scheduled the first Friday of every other month. This provides potential baccalaureate and masters' students an opportunity to talk with the Preadmission Advisor, faculty, and other support personnel (i.e. financial aid, registrar). Activities include:

» Registration in lobby
» Tour of the School of Nursing
» Admission requirements session, including prerequisite courses, testing, etc.
» Enrollment Services (Registrar and Financial Aid) information session
Program specific information session
» Unofficial Transcript Evaluations* for BSN applicants if you bring copies of your transcripts with you.

*Evaluations will be returned to you by mail within 2-3 weeks from Open House date.
Please include a cover letter with your current address, name and phone number if different from transcript information.

There will be a $2.00 charge for a parking token.
