These three focus areas provide the structure to develop a plan of study with in-depth knowledge in a specific area of research that will extend the understanding of the promotion of physical, psychological, and social well-being. The three focus areas also are applied within the context of prevention and the maintenance or restoration of health. Students earn a minimum of 63 credits. All required courses, exclusive of the dissertation, can be completed in two years of full-time study.
