Post-master's education for nurse practitioners has been available at the School of Nursing since 1985. Currently, all majors in the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program are available to master's or doctorally prepared nurses as a post-master's certificate program. To enter the program and be eligible for national certification, individuals must hold a master's degree with a major in nursing.
