Free Shuttle Parking is available for Orientation:

UTMB offers free parking to all students, employees and now patients and visitors, from a large paved and improved lot bounded by Holiday Dr., Winnie St. and Seawall Blvd.

Small shuttle buses run continuously during peak periods--in the mornings between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., and in the afternoon between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The small buses pick up and drop off inside the shuttle parking lot.

During the rest of the day, full-sized buses make trips to the shuttle lot approximately every 30 minutes. The large bus stops curbside on Holiday Dr., just outside the parking lot. There is no charge for the parking lot or shuttle. See driving directions below:

• Follow I-45 until it becomes Broadway
• Follow Broadway until it merges on to Seawall
• Turn LEFT at 4th Street (Holiday Drive)
• Turn RIGHT just after the Jenny's Donuts sign at the Corner of Winnie and Holiday

Schedule of Events:

The UTMB All School Orientation is scheduled for August 20th and the School of Nursing Orientation is scheduled for the 21st. New Incoming students should plan on being on campus from 8:00 - 5:00 each day. The Office of Education Technology at the School of Nursing is hosting a two day eCamp scheduled for August 23rd and 24th. Ecamp is designed to improve/enhance technology skills and will cover topics related to computer security, using a PDA in clinical settings, time management and much more. This course is also an all day event and is mandatory for all students entering the Prelicensure BSN Program.
