The Primary Care lab, Room 1.600, houses fifteen patient examination stations, which are utilized to facilitate student learning of physical assessment techniques. They are equipped to simulate the ambulatory patient care setting.
This lab is equipped with state of the art multimedia which includes wall mounted, networked laptop computers at each bedside, video cameras, TVs with VCR and CD players, and projection screens. Interactive computer assisted instructional programs offer a mechanism for students to reinforce and enhance their education. A selection of videotapes and references textbooks is available for use by students.
