Sim Man®

Sim Man® is a high fidelity programmable manikin  which replicates human physiologic responses. Therefore clinical scenarios are created facilitating students' to abilities to assess, make decisions, provide interventions, and evaluate responses. Sim Man's speech capabilities enable responses to the clinical environment and care providers providing an opportunity to incorporate biopsychosocial assessment. Exposure to realistic clinical presentations which may include abnormalities in Sim Man's physiologic systems provides  students with the opportunity to gain confidence and understanding in a safe environment geared for learning without jeopardizing patients.
