Nursing Simulation Center (NSC), Inpatient Care Lab

The inpatient care lab, Room 1.706, in the NSC is equipped with eight complete patient care areas. Each has an electronic bed, overbed table and bedside stand. Wall mounted lights, blood pressure systems, diagnostic sets, suction, air and oxygen outlets complete the set-ups. The utilization of VitalSim® manikins afford the students multiple opportunities for hands on practice sessions which replicate actual patient care procedures prior to traditional clinical rotations.
